Children's Care in Gansu Province

Staff representative from Century 3 visited sponsored children in Xinxiang County of Gansu Province from 2 to 4 June, 2016. Ms. Carrie Wang, Director of Business Development and Marketing Department, delivered 120 gifts bags to school children on behalf of the company. She also took two family visits, trying to get an in-depth knowledge of the families’ living conditions and their needs.
After a gift bag raising program launched earlier this year, Century 3 continues its charity initiatives by sending representatives to extend staff’s regards to sponsored students. “The place we visited is economically underdeveloped and water deficient. People there are challenged with extremely dry weather, inadequate sanitary facilities and traffic inconvenience.” Said Carrie. During the trip, Carrie visited two underprivileged families: one of the families has four kids to raise, however, the only labor in the family gets wounded; the other family has no income and survives on government’s allowance. Yet they are just two examples of the many ill-fated families there.
“As a leading engineering and project management company in China, Century 3 intends to apply our strength in construction design and technology into charity projects,” said Mr. Rong He, CEO of Century 3. “If possible, we would like to build some sanitary facilities for local community. Because inadequate sanitation practices negatively impact the environment and life quality. Century 3’s advanced water treatment technology safeguards the environment and maximizes the potential of waste products to be reused.” Century 3 believes that besides money donation, these measures will greatly improve local people’s life standards and be a demonstration of our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility.
